Is Jennifer Love Hewitt getting ready to launch a career in country music?

According to several reports, her boyfriend Jamie Kennedy said the “I Know What You Did Last Summer” actress is considering reviving her music career by writing new country music material.

Kennedy reportedly told People, that Hewitt is “writing a country song … I really want to make a new demo for her music, because I think she should do singing again. She’s so good.”

The “Ghost Whisperer” star released an album called ‘BareNaked’ in 2002, but enjoyed limited success as a singer.

The ‘Ghost Whisperer’ is whispering secrets to Maxim again.

Jennifer Love Hewitt becomes one of the few stars to grace the magazine’s cover three times with the May 2009 issue, on stands April 21. And she’s fine with that.

“It’s nice to have the Maxims of the world out there, because you can look at them when you’re 80 and be like, ‘See? No, really, I was cute, I promise!’” she says.

Hewitt, who’s been dating the laugh riot Jamie Kennedy for the past few months, tells Maxim the quickest way to her heart is humor. “The two biggest things are being trustworthy and funny,” she explains. “Humor doesn’t fade. If you’re a funny person, you will always be a funny person. You’re not just going to wake up one day and be like, ‘I’m not funny anymore.’” “I’m all about geeks,” she continues. “They don’t have to be the person in the room with the coolest shirt.”

Yes, that is true, Jamie Kennedy rarely has the coolest shirt. But can he draw a proper bubble bath? “My new thing is that I always take my bubble baths wearing a tiara… I am a grown-up who bathes in a tiara,” says Hewitt. “One that I got from Disneyland.”

Now that’s funny.

They’ve been denying it for weeks, but the truth was too hot to hide: Jamie Kennedy has confirmed that he’s dating his Ghost Whisperer costar Jennifer Love Hewitt on Ryan Seacrest’s radio show Friday.

“I’m in love and I don’t care,” the actor told Seacrest. Kennedy said the couple are not engaged but share a bond he described as “more than love.”

“I thought it was something I would find in my 40s,” Kennedy, 38, told Seacrest. “It’s like, ‘Wow, you are hot. You can sing, you can dance, you’re, like, so smart and, wow, you can cook pasta fagioli too.’ “

As recently as the night of the Academy Awards on Feb. 22, when Kennedy attended a party hosted by Hewitt, the two seemed cordial but not cozy, according to an eyewitness, and Hewitt, 30, said she was single. In January, the actress had announced she and her fiance Ross McCall had broken up over the holidays.

Hewitt’s rep declined to comment.

Jennifer Love Hewitt revealed more than she bargained for on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, when her cleavage was exposed while doing press-ups. Hewitt, who was fulfilling a long-standing challenge, did ten press-ups before host Leno pointed out that she was revealing more cleavage than she had intended, reports the Sun.

The actress, who will turn 30 on February 21, quickly shielded her chest with her hand in mock horror. The Ghost Whisperer star had made a promise to Leno two years ago on the show that she would do ten of the chest-enhancing exercises, the next time she made an appearance.

Jennifer Love Hewitt is using music to get over her split from fiance Ross McCall, insisting she finds comfort in emotional rocker Alanis Morissette’s records.

The “Ghost Whisperer” actress got engaged to McCall in November 2007 after two years of dating, but broke off the relationship last December.

And despite McCall recently telling reporters the pair were “working it out,” Hewitt is adamant the romance is finished, and has discovered useful tactics to try and move on.

She says, “I’m just taking things one day at a time. Lots of chocolate and Alanis (Morissette) is helping, too.

“Everybody has to get through it in their own way. I choose to believe that some people are just not right for you, and there’s somebody else who will be.”

Jennifer Love Hewitt has won a restraining order against a 62-year-old man she says has been stalking her.

Court records show a judge in Burbank, Calif. on Monday granted Hewitt’s request for a three-year restraining order against David Nolte. The actress stated in a court petition that Nolte recently sold his home in Colorado and moved to Los Angeles to be closer to Hewitt.

Documents also include dozens of letters allegedly sent by Nolte, describing violent and sexual fantasies Hewitt.

The actress wrote that she became more fearful of Nolte after he appeared at her mother’s house in late December. Court records do not indicate whether Nolte has an attorney.

If Jennifer Love Hewitt was getting skinny for her wedding, those 18 pounds she lost may have been all for naught.

The “Ghost Whisperer” star and fiancé Ross McCall have ended their 13-month engagement, according to People.com. “They broke up over the holidays,” a source close to the couple told the website. “They’re both really sad about this. Even their friends are surprised.” In October, Hewitt said she had lost weight for her upcoming wedding, not because of the now-famous “pudgy beach pictures” she had defended earlier in the year.

“I’m getting ready to turn 30 and get married and all those things,” Hewitt told People. “This year was my year to try to glow from within and feel better.” Love Hewitt 29, got engaged to McCall, 32, in November 2007. Hewitt’s rep had not returned Foxnews.com’s request for comment.’
